Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree National Park was beautiful and unlike anything we've seen. It was literally a breath of fresh air. Nature is amazing. The only thing we'd heard about Joshua Tree is that it looks like something out of a Dr. Seuss book and it really does!

We pulled into our spot at Joshua Tree National Park right before the sun was going down. We parked the Big B and drove into the main area of the park just in time to get some lovely evening shots. We spent a majority of the next day exploring Joshua Tree and we even added a new hobby to the Cortes repertoire, too! Bouldering. The kids were like little gazelles galavanting from one boulder to another (about to give their mama a heart attack). They LOVED every minute of it! Here are some shots of our adventure.

Exploring our campsite

At our campsite: It was cool to see pockets of palm trees in the middle of the desert.

Say Joshua Treeeeeeeee!

You see the face?

We got our Dr. Seuss fix and headed to San Diego!
